Reality TV star and entertainer Whitemoney has expressed frustration over Nigeria’s evolving dating culture, saying it has become increasingly difficult to find a genuine partner.
Speaking in a humorous video, the former Big Brother Naija winner joked that he is getting older and wondered where people are finding “better women,” playfully asking if anyone had a “referral code.”
Whitemoney lamented that many interactions now seem to revolve around money, claiming that even simple conversations often lead to financial requests.
“I can’t even lie, I’m getting old. Dating culture in Nigeria is becoming something else. Abeg where them dey see better woman now? Una get referral code. Any small thing, billing. Small hello, billing. How’re you, billing,” he said.
His remarks have since sparked conversations online, with many social media users sharing mixed reactions to his views on modern relationships in Nigeria.
