Jarvis has opened up about a moment from her court wedding to Peller that has continued to occupy her thoughts after she rewatched videos from the ceremony.
The content creator said she had been happily going through the wedding clips until she got to the part where the registrar mentioned that bigamy carries a minimum five-year prison sentence. She admitted that hearing it again made her pause and think deeply about what it actually meant.
Jarvis said she is still unsure whether the punishment applies only to the husband or to both spouses, adding that Peller’s reaction during the ceremony made her wonder if it was directed at men alone.
She said:
«“I don’t know about that thing. Hey, hey. That 5 years imprisonment or something. I swear to God. I was just thinking about it just now because I just saw the video again.»
«Like, you know, I’m going through the videos and I’m like, I’m blushing but when I go to that one, joke apart. I had to think about it again.»
«That 5 years imprisonment. Is it for the men only? Or is it for the two of us? Because I feel like it for men only. for my man to react that way, maybe it’s for the men only. Maybe it’s not for the two of us. Nothing will happen in Jesus. God forbid. I rebuke and I cast. In the name of Jesus.”»
