Social media critic VeryDarkMan has explained why he was absent from the wedding celebration of content creators Peller and Jarvis, saying concerns about his safety kept him away from Lagos.
In a post congratulating the newlyweds, VeryDarkMan said he had hoped to attend the event but decided against travelling because of his ongoing issues with the Lagos Police. According to him, he believes there is a high likelihood of being arrested if he enters the state.
Despite missing the ceremony, he revealed that he had already obtained Peller’s asoebi and watched the wedding from afar. He praised the organisation of the event and said he was pleased to see everyone celebrating happily.
He said:
“Unfortunately, I could not go to Lagos because I have bigger enemies in Lagos, and the Lagos Police and I are not friends. Immediately I enter Lagos, there’s a high chance I might be arrested.
I have Peller’s asoebi here, and I’ve been watching the wedding. I love how everything is coordinated, and everyone is happy.
I really love that boy, Peller, and Jarvis. That’s why when he does some funny things, I get upset.
Happy married life to them, and the child they’re expecting is blessed.”
