A Nigerian dancer is charged with multiple sex offences in east London.
Poco Lee, real name Iweh Odinaka, is remanded in custody charged with two counts of rape, one attempted rape, and two sexual assaults by penetration.
The offences are said to have taken place in Tower Hamlets on July 23.
The 29-year-old, from Lagos, is a well-known Nigerian dancer, singer and hype man who gained popularity through viral dance videos and appearances alongside some of Afrobeats’ biggest stars.
Odinaka appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court last Tuesday (August 18) and his case was sent to Snaresbrook Crown Court.
He will appear for a plea and trial preparation hearing on September 15.
