Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly been placed in solitary confinement at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey amid an investigation into his alleged treatment and lifestyle inside the prison.

The development comes after US broadcaster NBC reported that the music mogul had allegedly been receiving special treatment while serving his 50-month sentence.

According to the report, Combs was allegedly being provided with specially prepared meals, receiving massages and paying fellow inmates to perform some of his chores.

NBC cited sources who said it was standard practice for inmates to be placed in solitary confinement while investigations are ongoing.

Four men who claimed to have been housed in the same unit as Combs reportedly described his life behind bars as unusually comfortable.

“This is not some normal st you see in jail. This is some rich st,” one man said. “It looks crazy, but again, it’s Diddy.”

One of the men, who claimed to have prepared food for Combs, reportedly described meals including pizza, curry chicken and empanadas.

NBC also reported obtaining an alleged photograph of Combs using a contraband mobile phone. The report further alleged that he had access to premium liquor that was smuggled into the facility by guards, as well as antidepressants.

However, Combs’ representative disputed the significance of the reports and defended his conduct in prison.

The representative told Page Six, “The continued scrutiny of every mundane detail of Sean Combs’ life in prison has reached the point where the media characterises ordinary prison life as news.

“The only real news is that Sean continues to serve his sentence within the rules and he patiently awaits the court’s decision on his appeal.”

Combs is currently serving his sentence at FCI Fort Dix and is expected to be released on January 21, 2028.
