The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has opened its portal for candidates preparing for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination to print their notification slips.

This update was shared in Abuja on Thursday by the board’s Public Communication Adviser, Fabian Benjamin, who confirmed that the nationwide examination will kick off on April 16.

Candidates are expected to access their slips via JAMB’s official website by selecting the “2026 UTME Slip Printing” option, where details such as exam date, time, and venue are clearly stated.

He emphasized the importance of printing the slip ahead of time and visiting the assigned examination centre beforehand to avoid confusion or delays on the exam day.

Benjamin also noted that candidates have been scheduled individually and must report early to their centres to complete screening and accreditation processes before the commencement of the test.

He further disclosed that stronger security measures have been introduced for this year’s exercise to combat malpractice, warning that any candidate or centre found violating the rules will face strict consequences.
