Nigerian singer Crayon has made a series of revelations about his past, including his admiration for fellow artiste Tiwa Savage, whom he said he once had a major crush on during the early stage of his career.
The former Mavin Records act also spoke about an incident he claimed happened in 2018 while he was still signed to the label. According to him, the encounter involved a substance he referred to as “Backy,” which he described as a mixture of drugs such as cannabis, tramadol, codeine, and rohypnol rolled together.
In a candid interview on a livestream with content creator Caterefe, Crayon alleged that the experience marked the beginning of his exposure to the substance, which he says later developed into addiction.
“Tiwa Savage was my crush in 2018, she gave me my first Backy. She asked me if I smoked. I said yes mama I smoke, and she handed it to me. Since then, I started smoking Backy,” he said.
The claims have since generated mixed reactions online, with fans reacting to both his personal confession and the allegations made in the interview.
