Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore has shared an update on the legal case involving detained crypto entrepreneur BLord, amid his ongoing dispute with social media commentator VeryDarkMan.

Sowore disclosed that BLord’s legal representatives have already submitted a bail application, while the police have filed a counter affidavit challenging the request and opposing his release.

According to him, the matter should never have escalated to court, stressing that the process is now awaiting a judicial date for the bail hearing.

“The case should not even have come to court in the first place. We are waiting for the court to give us a date for his bail hearing. Blord is doing very fine,” he stated.

Sowore also referenced his past involvement in a separate case concerning VeryDarkMan, claiming he played a role in securing his release during an incident in 2024.

“If I had not intervened in VeryDarkMan’s situation on Easter Sunday in 2024 which was the first time he experienced freedom, which he now brags about, he wouldn’t be able to do what he’s doing today. If I had abandoned him in prison at that time, things would be very different,” he added.

The case continues to draw public attention online, with discussions intensifying around the legal battle between BLord and VeryDarkMan.
