Omoyele Sowore has disclosed that the court has now fixed a date to hear the bail application of crypto businessman BLord, marking a fresh step in the ongoing legal battle.
According to the update, the bail hearing is scheduled to take place on Friday, April 17, 2026, where both the defence and prosecution are expected to present their arguments before the court decides on the request.
BLord has remained in custody at the Kuje Correctional Centre following his arraignment earlier this month over allegations linked to impersonation and related offences.
His legal team had previously filed for bail, but the process faced delays after the police opposed the application and court activities were affected by the Easter break.
With the new hearing date now confirmed, attention has shifted to April 17, which is expected to determine whether BLord will be granted bail or remain in detention as the case continues.
