Peller has reacted after TVC News criticised him for making comments that appeared to mock Nigerian civil servants over their inability to afford luxury trips to destinations like the Maldives, following his vacation with his partner, Jarvis.
The criticism from TVC News described his remarks as insensitive, especially in light of ongoing economic hardship in the country. The backlash quickly gained attention online, with many weighing in on both the original comments and the media response.
In response, Peller lashed out at the outlet and a female presenter he claimed often targets him, making a series of strong accusations and threats. He said:
“If I buy TVC, I will first sack that lady that drags me all the time, when I get to Nigeria I will sl@p her face, she says anything working in Nigeria can go to Maldives, TVC sponsor her to Maldives cuz if you do I know you won’t pay her for 5months cuz you want to oppress me”
The statement has since triggered mixed reactions across social media, with critics describing his response as excessive, while others say it reflects a growing friction between online personalities and traditional media outlets over public commentary and accountability.
