Nigerian street-hop act Zlatan Ibile has set social media buzzing after announcing his intention to employ a private French tutor.

He made the disclosure on his X page, where he stated that he wants personalized home lessons and is willing to spend millions to make it happen.

“I need a French teacher for home lessons. The salary should not exceed 5 million per month.”

The statement immediately drew attention online, with many users reacting to the amount he is prepared to pay. While some considered it a generous offer, others joked about applying for the role despite having little or no background in the language.

Although he didn’t outline specific requirements for the position, the post has already sparked conversations about the increasing interest among Nigerian entertainers in learning French, especially as the African music scene continues to gain traction in French-speaking regions.
