Asake has stirred excitement across the music scene after unveiling plans for his next studio project. On Wednesday, April 22, 2026, the Nigerian hitmaker confirmed that his fourth album, M$NEY, will be released on May 1.

The announcement further reinforces his unusual run in the industry, as he has managed to drop a full-length album every year since his breakout in 2022, a pace few artists on the continent have matched in recent years.

Rather than using standard promotional artwork, Asake opted for a more creative reveal. He shared a short film on Instagram and X featuring Iraqi-Dutch sculptor Athar Jabar, who is shown working on a life-sized marble bust of the singer in Carrara, Italy.

The video captures the detailed carving process using Statuario marble, a material historically linked with classical art and Renaissance sculpture. The visual approach has been widely interpreted as a symbolic move, pointing to Asake’s ambition to build a lasting legacy in music rather than a fleeting moment of fame.

Since his breakout with Mr. Money with the Vibe in 2022, Asake has kept a steady release pattern, following up with Work of Art in 2023 and Lungu Boy in 2024, before setting the stage for M$NEY as his latest body of work.
