Protesters under the leadership of Omoyele Sowore staged a demonstration at the Abuja headquarters of MTN Nigeria, protesting the high cost of telecom services.
The demonstrators, visibly angry, chanted “MTN Ole!” as they accused the company of exploiting customers through excessive charges.
They called for immediate intervention, insisting that Nigerians deserve better service and fair pricing.
“We demand that MTN immediately stop all the exorbitant charges. We need quality service in the country. Last week, someone complained that he paid a huge amount of money, but he was not given the data. That’s the story of many Nigerians,” one of the protesters said.
