Whitemoney, the winner of Big Brother Naija ‘Shine Ya Eye’, has advised aspiring contestants to stop contacting him for assistance in getting into the reality show.
In a video statement, he disclosed that he has been receiving a large number of messages from people requesting that he help secure them a place in the upcoming edition of the show.
He stressed that he has no influence over the selection process and encouraged interested applicants to rely strictly on the official audition procedure.
Whitemoney also reflected on his own journey, revealing that he auditioned four different times before finally making it into the Big Brother house, urging hopefuls to remain persistent.
He further warned against paying anyone who promises guaranteed entry, describing such claims as fraudulent.
“My DM is filled up with messages from people asking me to influence their entries into BBNaija. Please, I do not have the power to put you into Big Brother house. Stop sending messages. Every year when the programme is approaching, I keep getting messages. This year’s own is too much.
“I understand that the economy is hard and everyone wants to be famous by going to the Big Brother show. But please, go and audition. Follow the due process. I auditioned 4 times before I was picked. Keep auditioning even if they reject you. And don’t fall victim of scam by giving anyone money to give a BBNaija slot. Be wise about it,” he said.
