Comedian, Ajebo has blamed bullying for the death of Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo, who reportedly died after battling cancer.
In a post shared on Instagram, he accused bloggers and social media users of repeatedly targeting the actor with false claims and harsh comments, which he said contributed to his emotional decline.
“Y’all stupid blogs killed ALEX.
Y’all in the comment section killed him. You bullied a man in pain, he had a cancelled engagement and all you could come up with was lies that he was gay. He broke down, he cried, he withdrew, He was depressed. It affected his family, he bro was bullied in school. Y’all killed Him. ALEX WAS FULL OF LIFE, ENERGY, HE WAS A GOOD GUY. You guys play with people’s lives and emotions in the name of cruise.

He also added in another post:
“You all bullied him. You bullied @alexxekubo”
The post has since stirred mixed reactions online, with many users debating the impact of social media trolling and misinformation on public figures.
