A viral report has claimed that a court has found social commentator VeryDarkMan liable for defamation in a case involving the wife of comedian Mr Jollof, ordering him to pay a total of ₦30.5 million in damages.

According to the circulating judgment details, the court allegedly awarded ₦20 million as general damages and an additional ₦10 million as aggravated damages, bringing the total compensation to ₦30 million. He was also said to have been directed to pay ₦500,000 as litigation costs.

The report further states that the court ordered the activist to retract the defamatory publication and publish a formal apology in two national newspapers within 14 days of the judgment.

The ruling has been described in the viral document as a legal victory for Mrs Jollof, with the court reportedly holding that the statements made online caused reputational damage that required both financial compensation and a public apology.

However, the alleged judgment has not been independently verified by official court records or confirmed by any recognised legal authority at the time of this report, as the document continues to circulate online.
