Billionaire businessman Femi Otedola has reportedly expanded his real estate portfolio with the purchase of a luxury property in London worth £53 million ($72 million), according to a UK land registry record.
Bloomberg reports that the property is a 10-bedroom detached house located in St John’s Wood, an upscale neighbourhood in north-west London known for its high-value homes.
The area sits close to Regent’s Park and is regarded as one of London’s most exclusive residential districts, with easy access to central parts of the city.
According to the filing, the transaction was concluded late last year, although it only recently became public.
Otedola has not issued any statement regarding the purchase.
St John’s Wood is also known for its proximity to Lord’s Cricket Ground and several other elite private residences.
