Veteran broadcaster Frank Edoho has publicly shared his side of the ongoing controversy surrounding the collapse of his marriage to Sandra Edoho, making several emotional allegations during a recorded phone conversation with Instagram influencer Titi.
The conversation surfaced online after Titi attempted to clarify Frank’s earlier statement about “keeping malice,” which had triggered widespread reactions on social media.
Speaking during the call, Frank alleged that problems began in his marriage after he discovered that his ex-wife was romantically involved with singer Chike.
According to him, he initially confronted Sandra about the relationship and she assured him that she would end things with the singer. However, he later discovered that they were allegedly still in contact despite her promise.
Frank claimed he later encountered Chike at an event and decided to confront him directly.
He alleged that the singer appeared nervous and started trembling when he approached him. According to Frank, he questioned Chike over his involvement with a married woman and pleaded with him to walk away from the relationship.
He said he genuinely believed that if Chike stepped aside, his marriage could still be saved.
Frank further claimed that despite the pain and anger he felt, he deliberately controlled himself because he did not want another failed marriage after the collapse of his first union.
He alleged that he repeatedly asked Sandra to be honest about whether she was still communicating with Chike, but she denied it each time.
According to him, he later overheard conversations between them after recording calls, and the discussions allegedly included plans to meet in the United States.
Frank also claimed that Sandra allegedly warned Chike that the scandal could damage his public image, but the singer allegedly responded that Nigerians would only discuss the issue briefly before moving on.
He further alleged that both parties planned to reduce communication for a few months to avoid suspicion and public attention.
The broadcaster revealed that he tried several times to salvage the marriage, including begging his wife, giving her space, crying over the situation, and involving their spiritual mother in an attempt to resolve the crisis.
According to him, nothing changed despite his efforts, and he eventually realised the marriage was over.
Frank disclosed that he moved out at some point and stayed in a hotel for about three months before Sandra later appealed to him to return home.
Although he eventually returned, he said things were never the same again, and they later agreed to continue appearing together as a couple temporarily so their children could gradually adjust to the separation.
He also claimed that after he began spending time with other women while trying to heal emotionally, Sandra became jealous and later filed for divorce.
Addressing allegations of domestic violence, Frank explained that his earlier remarks about “malice” were made while responding to accusations that he abused his ex-wife.
He further revealed that he financially supported Sandra during the marriage, including sponsoring her education and helping her establish herself in the interior decoration business.
Frank denied leaking any voice recordings to controversial blogger Cutie Juls, insisting that the recordings were only submitted as evidence in court during divorce proceedings and may have leaked from there.
He added that he even pleaded with the blogger not to publish the story because of their children, but according to him, efforts to keep the matter private were unsuccessful.
Before ending the conversation, Frank promised to release more recordings and evidence to back up his claims.
