Spanish giants Real Madrid have officially appointed José Mourinho as their new head coach, marking the Portuguese manager’s return to the club.
Mourinho, popularly called “The Special One,” is said to have signed a two-year contract after successfully concluding talks with the La Liga side.
His comeback to the Santiago Bernabéu follows widespread reports linking him with a return to Madrid after the club decided to make changes to its coaching setup ahead of the new campaign.
Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano had earlier disclosed that all agreements between Mourinho and Real Madrid had already been completed before the official confirmation.
