Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has officially entered the political arena after emerging as the African Action Congress (AAC) governorship candidate for the 2027 Abia State election.

The actress, who has built a reputation in the entertainment industry and often attracts attention for her outspoken views and public controversies, will fly the AAC flag in the race for the state’s top office.

The AAC, founded by Omoyele Sowore, has previously fielded the activist as its presidential candidate in the 2019 and 2023 general elections.
