Social media critic Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has reacted to the disturbing videos of the abducted victims from Oyo State, saying he can no longer watch their suffering without taking action.
The activist expressed frustration over the situation and warned that if the Federal Government fails to secure the victims’ release within four days, Nigerians may have to explore other options, including raising funds to facilitate their freedom.
VeryDarkMan said he is willing to face any consequences that may arise from such a move, stressing that his main concern is ensuring the safe return of the victims to their loved ones.
He also suggested that direct negotiations with the kidnappers could become necessary if official efforts fail to produce results.
“If in the next four days the federal government are not able to bring these people out, we’ll have no any other option than to raise money and get them out.
“I can’t bear to watch their videos anymore. I am aware there might be an impl!c@tion for this action, however am ready to pay the ultimate price to get those children back to their parents and those teachers back to their families.
“We’ll be the one to negotiate with them. I don’t care what people will say, ‘Oh, you’re supporting t#rror!sm.’ I don’t care, as far as they are free.”
