Former Big Brother Naija star Tope Adenibuyan, popularly known as TeddyA, has criticised the security situation in Oyo State, questioning how funds allocated for security are being utilised.
The reality TV personality argued that despite the billions of naira reportedly received annually as security votes, residents are yet to see a matching level of safety and protection.
He suggested that the persistent insecurity points to poor resource management and raised concerns about the priorities of the state government.
TeddyA also accused the administration of failing to adequately address security challenges affecting the people.
He wrote: “Oyo state gets 12 Billion naira annually for security vote from the federation yet Governor Seyi Makinde can’t provide security for his people. Instead he is playing politics with the lives of his people for his presidential ambition”.
