A woman identified on X (formerly Twitter) as Swissbae has accused Davido’s official DJ, DJ Ecool, of sexual assault, alleging that the incident happened during a night out in Toronto, Canada.
In a detailed thread posted on X, she said she was sharing the account on behalf of a young woman who reached out to her with the allegation, naming DJ Ecool in the post.
She wrote:
“I would like to shed light on an event that took place last weekend in Toronto, at the St Regis hotel. A young lady was sexually assaulted by an ‘artist’ and she reached out to me to share her story on here to call out this rapist. @ecoolofficial”
According to her, the night began as a planned group outing organised through a Toronto event host, after earlier conversations and a FaceTime call earlier in the day.
She said she later arrived at a lounge where she was introduced to a group that included DJ Ecool, and was told they would move to other locations.
“When he came back, he introduced me to the group and said we were going to Hawa and then Deja Vu but he had to go handle something and to go with the group…”
She added that she entered a vehicle with Ecool, his manager, and a DJ, but they ended up at the St. Regis hotel instead of the planned venue.
“I entered the hotel with only Ecool… after a few minutes, nobody else came up… That’s when I realized I was alone with him and started to text my friend.”
She further alleged that her phone was taken after Ecool saw her messaging someone:
“He saw my phone and said he didn’t like that I was texting. He then took the phone from me.”
She claimed that once inside the room, the situation became uncomfortable:
“When we got back in the room… I was trying to keep my friend updated… I sat on the bed but kept space because I was uncomfortable.”
She continued that the encounter escalated:
“We got some food and then after that he started to kiss me… I knew for sure that I didn’t want to sleep with him… shortly after, he stood up and pulled down his pants. I froze.”
She said she clearly communicated her unwillingness to engage in sexual activity and described feeling trapped in the situation.
The post also noted that she later confronted the event host, who allegedly said the outing was originally meant to be a group plan but claimed he was unaware she ended up alone with Ecool.
As of now, DJ Ecool has not issued any public response to the allegations, and there has been no official statement from Davido or his management regarding the claim.
