A video circulating online shows the moment suspected kidnappers abducted the sister of former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, alongside her twin sons in the Challenge–Elewura area of Ibadan, Oyo State, earlier today.
The victims, identified as Mrs. Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul and her 12-year-old twin sons, Peter and Paul, were reportedly attacked while she was taking the children to school.
In the footage, an eyewitness is heard narrating the incident as it unfolds.
“Those are kidnappers who just kidnapped someone from that car,” the witness said while recording, as the suspects fled the scene.
The kidnappers were said to have escaped in a grey Toyota Camry immediately after the abduction.
The incident has triggered concern in the area, with security operatives expected to begin investigations and efforts to track down the suspects and rescue the victims.
