Nollywood actor Emeka Ike has penned a heartfelt birthday message to his first daughter, Ada, as she marked her special day.
In an emotional note shared publicly, the actor expressed deep love for his daughter while hinting at ongoing separation that has limited his access to her.
“I LOVE YOU ADA, HAPPY BIRTHDAY my Princess. Though they won’t let me see you, yet I know weeping endureth only but for a night… but JOY comes in the morning,” he wrote.
He repeatedly affirmed his love for her, closing the message with warm birthday wishes despite being apart.
Emeka Ike’s marriage to his former wife, Suzanne Emma Ike, ended after years of marital issues. The union produced four children before it was dissolved in 2017 by a Lagos customary court, which also made custody arrangements for the children.
Since the separation, the actor’s relationship with his children has remained strained, though he continues to acknowledge and celebrate them publicly on special occasions.
