Actress Regina Chukwu has questioned why Baba Ijesha should remain condemned for life amid the backlash that followed the announcement of his new baby with his wife, Luminee.
The couple recently welcomed a child, but the news sparked heated reactions online due to Baba Ijesha’s past conviction for sexually assaulting a minor.
The actor was released from prison months ago after serving his sentence, yet many social media users continued to criticise him following the baby announcement.
Reacting to the controversy, Regina wondered why Nigerians seemed unwilling to move on from the actor’s past, insisting that he should not be judged forever.
“Wait so now he should be condemned for the rest of his life??? Make it make sense,” she wrote.
