Gospel singer Kunle Kenny has said he would prefer to undergo a vasectomy rather than allow his wife to use contraceptives, as he shared his personal views on family planning within marriage.

In a statement that has sparked reactions online, the singer expressed strong opposition to hormonal or implanted birth control methods for his wife, insisting he prefers natural family planning decisions made jointly by both partners.

“Nobody is putting any birth control thing inside my wife’s body. No extraneous chemicals or pills. We will only have kids when we BOTH unanimously agree, as God allows in His mercy. And when we’re done, I’m getting a vasectomy. A woman’s body is too sensitive for these chemicals. The side effects are crazy!” he said.

He explained that his stance is rooted in personal conviction and mutual agreement within marriage, adding that decisions on having children should only be made when both partners are aligned.

Kunle Kenny also reiterated that he is willing to undergo a vasectomy once they are done having children, as part of their agreed family planning approach.
