Actor Williams Uchemba has stepped in to support one of late Nollywood actor Mr Ibu’s sons by paying his outstanding school fees, allowing the teenager to finally collect his WAEC result.

The gesture came shortly after the young man shared an emotional video online, alleging that his stepmother had sold his late father’s properties and left the family struggling financially. He also disclosed that he had been unable to collect his WAEC result because of unpaid school fees.

According to the teenager, Williams Uchemba immediately reached out after seeing the video, cleared the debt, and personally visited the school to ensure he received his examination result.

Expressing his appreciation, he thanked the actor, as well as blogger Tunde Ednut, for their timely support.

He said:

“Good day, everyone. I want to use this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone for the love and support you have shown me.

“When I made that video yesterday, I never expected the overwhelming response it received.

“I want to thank Uncle William Uchemba, who saw my video and reached out to me. I’m truly grateful for your kindness and support. I also want to thank Uncle Tunde Ednut.

“God bless you abundantly for reaching out and standing by me.

“To everyone who has shown me love, encouragement, and support, thank you so much.

“I truly appreciate each and every one of you. May God bless you all.”
