Senate President Godswill Akpabio has commended President Bola Tinubu over the administration’s reform agenda, saying the changes introduced by the Federal Government are already making a noticeable impact on the country.
Speaking at a public event, Akpabio expressed confidence in Tinubu’s leadership, stating that the President was fulfilling the promises he made before assuming office.
According to the Senate President, the ongoing reforms have begun transforming Nigeria, describing the administration’s efforts as a positive step toward the country’s future.
He said:
“We’re proud of your reforms Mr President, you promised that under your tenure, when you are through with Nigeria, Nigeria will not be the same again, we are seeing it.”
Akpabio’s endorsement comes as the Tinubu administration continues to defend its economic and governance policies amid mixed reactions from Nigerians. While supporters argue that the reforms are necessary to secure long-term economic stability, critics have raised concerns over the hardship many citizens continue to experience.
His remarks are expected to fuel further debate over the impact of the administration’s policies and the progress of its reform agenda.
