Rapper and social media personality Speed Darlington has opened up about his personal life, saying an American passport is no longer enough to give him a sense of fulfillment.
Reflecting on his current stage in life, the entertainer said he is approaching 60 years old but is neither married nor a father, admitting that those are the achievements he now longs for.
“Damn, near 60, I’m not married and I don’t have any children. All I have to show is an American passport. I want more than American papers I want a family and respect,” he said.
According to Speed Darlington, while many people consider American citizenship a major accomplishment, he now places greater value on building a family and earning the respect that comes with it.
He said that marriage and having children have become more meaningful to him than simply possessing an American passport.
