Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has reacted to questions about her alleged feud with fellow actress Funke Akindele, saying she prefers to leave the past behind and focus on her own journey.
The actress addressed the issue during an appearance on The Morayo Brown Show after she was asked about her relationship with Funke, following recent social media discussions sparked by their appearance at the premiere of Return of the Arinzo.
Rather than revisit past events or respond to the speculation, Toyin made it clear that she has no interest in being compared with anyone in the industry.
She said:
“I don’t like talking about my past and i also don’t like being pitched against anyone. I wanna be me.”
Her remarks have since generated reactions online, with many praising her decision to avoid controversy and remain focused on her career.
