Actress and media personality Temi Otedola has said she will not be sharing her child on social media after becoming a mother, explaining that she wants to keep her family life private.
Speaking on a recent episode of the How Far podcast alongside her husband, Mr Eazi, the expectant mother said children should not automatically become part of their parents’ public image simply because they are born into famous families.
Temi noted that having millions of followers comes with a different level of attention, adding that she often wonders why posts featuring children receive thousands of saves on social media.
She said:
“Posting your kid when you have a 100 followers and 1M followers isn’t same thing, the interest is different.
“I see kids content on TikTok with 30k saves and ask myself who’s actually saving this.
“I won’t post my child cause it’s not part of my public brand. I am not going to integrate my child into my public life because they haven’t chosen to be public.”
Her comments have sparked conversations online about children’s privacy and whether celebrity parents should keep their kids away from social media.
