Nigerian content creator Carter Efe has voiced his frustration after being denied a Schengen visa to France, putting a halt to his plans to join a European tour.

Sharing the embassy’s refusal letter on X, he expressed disbelief, asking, “Who I offend? I suppose Dey stream with Davido for the Europe tour,” referring to the Afrobeats superstar’s tour he was set to be part of.

The rejection left Carter Efe shocked, as the embassy did not provide a clear reason for turning down his application. This means he may miss scheduled appearances in France unless he appeals the decision or reapplies with additional documentation.

Schengen visa refusals are common and can occur for reasons ranging from incomplete paperwork to questions about an applicant’s ties to their home country. Although disappointing, a refusal does not permanently bar someone from reapplying, as long as the issues cited are addressed.

Fans and social media users have since reacted to Carter Efe’s post, expressing sympathy for his setback and disappointment at missing out on the Europe tour.
