The Dangote Refinery has raised its gantry price for Premium Motor Spirit (petrol), pushing the cost to N1,275 per litre from the previous N1,200.
The adjustment comes as global crude oil prices continue to climb, alongside escalating tensions fueled by threats from Donald Trump to intensify conflict with Iran.
The increase follows about a week of relative stability in fuel prices across the country.
Earlier, President of the refinery, Aliko Dangote, reassured Nigerians and other African markets of steady fuel supply despite disruptions linked to the Iran–United States–Israel crisis.
“What I can do is assure Nigerians and most of West Africa, Central Africa, and East Africa that we have the capacity to supply them.”
