Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido is set to make history with his first-ever curated festival in London, scheduled for August 14, 2026, at the renowned Crystal Palace Bowl.
The Grammy-nominated singer confirmed that the show will be his only outdoor performance in London this summer. Announcing the event on social media, Davido wrote: “For the first time ever I present to you… Davido & Friends Festival. It’s going down at Crystal Palace Bowl on August 14th. Sign up for first access.”
Ticket sales were also revealed, with pre-sale starting on March 26 at 10am GMT and general sale beginning March 27 at 10am GMT.
The festival promises to be more than a typical concert, as Davido will curate the full lineup himself. The “& Friends” concept has sparked excitement and speculation among fans about which surprise guests may appear on stage.
The event is part of the “Palace Bowl Presents” series, which runs from July 31 to August 16, featuring international acts such as Tasha Cobbs Leonard and Kirk Franklin on earlier dates.
The Crystal Palace Bowl, an open-air venue established in 1961 with a capacity of about 15,000, is famed for hosting top global performers, making Davido’s headline appearance a significant milestone in his international career.
The announcement comes amid continued success for Davido, whose fifth studio album, 5ive, released in 2025, has earned critical acclaim and global attention, reinforcing his influence as a leading figure in the Afrobeats movement.
