Madam Esther Imaguomwanruo Idahosa (née Enabulele), mother of Edo State Deputy Governor Dennis Idahosa, has passed away at the age of 95.
She died on Wednesday following a brief illness.
In a statement, Friday Aghedo, Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, described late Madam Idahosa as a revered matriarch whose life was marked by deep faith, strength of character, and devoted service to her family and community.
“Her remarkable legacy of wisdom was a source of pride and inspiration to all who knew her. The entire Idahosa family expresses gratitude to God for her life and the values she imparted, which will continue to guide generations,” the statement read.
The family has requested prayers and understanding as they mourn her passing. Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
