Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has relieved Shehu Sagagi of his duties as Commissioner for Investment, Commerce, and Industry, with the change taking immediate effect.
In a statement issued Thursday, the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Dawakin-Tofa, said Sagagi has been instructed to hand over the ministry’s operations to the Director of Commerce until further notice.
Governor Yusuf thanked Sagagi for his contributions during his tenure, highlighting his role in advancing the state’s development, particularly in politics, religious engagement, and the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises.
The governor wished him success in his future endeavors and assured the public that his administration remains focused on efficient service delivery and the strategic restructuring of government bodies to ensure sustainable development across Kano State.
