Drama unfolded in Abeokuta after popular streamer Peller was forced to leave the palace of the Alake of Egbaland during what was meant to be a routine stop on his nationwide tour.
The visit, intended as part of his efforts to meet fans and explore new locations, quickly turned sour shortly after he arrived at the residence of Oba Adedotun Gbadebo.
A video circulating online captured a voice, believed to be a palace chief, expressing strong displeasure over how Peller, his entourage, and his associate Tunde Perry made their entrance into the palace. Their conduct was reportedly deemed inappropriate for a place of such cultural significance.
As the situation escalated, other palace officials intervened and brought the visit to an abrupt end. The streamer, also known as Hamzat, and his team were informed that the monarch would not be granting them an audience and were instructed to leave immediately.
With tensions rising, Peller quickly exited the premises, urging his crew to follow as the atmosphere grew increasingly uncomfortable.
