The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the results of the 2026 First Series Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (CB-WASSCE) for Private Candidates.
In a statement on X on Friday, WAEC announced that candidates can access their results within 12 hours. The council said the prompt release underscores its commitment to using technology to streamline examination processes and improve service delivery.
WAEC also thanked stakeholders for their support in ensuring the smooth conduct of the exams. “Our thanks to all stakeholders for cooperating with us to achieve this feat,” the statement read.
The CB-WASSCE, designed for private candidates, is part of WAEC’s effort to modernize examinations and enhance the experience through computer-based testing. Candidates are advised to check their results via the official WAEC platforms once they are available.
