The Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, Director of New Media and Strategic Communications, Theo Abu Agada, has alleged that the family of Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo is hostile towards the party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
Agada made the claim while reacting to a recent clarification by Soludo’s wife, Nonye Soludo, regarding a statement made by Obi about his relationship with one of the governor’s sons.
Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, had claimed that he was the godfather of one of Soludo’s sons at the child’s baptism.
However, Mrs Soludo, through her media assistant, Dan Ezeigwe, denied the claim, explaining that she decided to address the issue following a viral video involving Obi.
Reacting to the development in a post on X, Agada alleged that the Soludo family does not have Obi’s interests at heart.
“This family hates Obi so much, and the earlier he realises that they don’t mean well for him, the better.”
Agada’s comments come amid the ongoing political differences and exchanges involving Obi and political figures in Anambra State.
