Manchester United have completed the signing of Belgian midfielder Youri Tielemans from Aston Villa ahead of the new season.
The Premier League giants finalised the deal after accelerating negotiations following Belgium’s exit from the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Tielemans arrives at Old Trafford after an impressive spell at Aston Villa, where he made 134 appearances and scored 10 goals following his free transfer from Leicester City in 2023.
The 29-year-old played a key role in Villa’s recent success, helping the club qualify for the UEFA Champions League twice and win the Europa League under manager Unai Emery. He also scored in the Europa League final victory over Freiburg.
United moved to strengthen their midfield during the summer transfer window, with Tielemans becoming the latest addition as the club prepares for the 2026/27 campaign.
