Comedian and singer Nasboi has come to the defense of Veekee James following criticism over her social media post announcing the birth of her child amid the mourning of late actor Alex Ekubo.
Some social media users had dragged the celebrity designer for sharing joyful news at a time many were grieving the Nollywood star’s death. Reacting to the backlash, Nasboi called out the critics, saying they were being unfair and hypocritical.
“Veekee James wasn’t supposed to post at this time. But you, you carried on with your life, You have even posted more than Veekee James. Leave people alone Ozuor,” he wrote.
His reaction has generated mixed opinions online, with several people supporting his view that mourning should not stop others from living their lives or celebrating personal moments.
