France and Bayern Munich star Michael Olise has been accused by his former partner, Fatima Zaunbrecher, of refusing to play an active role in the life of their 20-month-old daughter despite a DNA test reportedly confirming he is the child’s father.
According to BILD, Zaunbrecher alleged that Olise has never met their daughter, Aaliyah Noor, in person and has chosen to communicate only through his lawyers.
The Düsseldorf-based optician said she and the footballer began dating in 2022 after connecting on Instagram while he was still playing for Crystal Palace.
Reflecting on their relationship, she said:
“He was playing for Crystal Palace in London at the time and wasn’t a big star yet. When we were out together later, nobody even recognized him on the street. But we liked each other immediately. He’s half Algerian, I’m half Moroccan. They’re neighboring countries, after all. He also dislikes large crowds and parties, just like me. When he tried to kiss me on our first date, I stopped him and told him we should get to know each other better. He accepted that. From then on, I flew to London regularly.”
Zaunbrecher explained that the relationship ended after two years because of repeated disagreements. She then discovered she was pregnant just weeks after the breakup.
Their daughter was born nine months later, and she said a paternity test conducted in Munich established that Olise is the father.
Despite that, she claimed the footballer has refused to see the child, while the financial support proposed through his lawyers has not been enough to comfortably raise their daughter.
“It devastates me how heartless someone can be towards their own child. He doesn’t even talk to me and just sends his lawyers instead. And then they send me letters saying that ‘it wouldn’t be productive for their client to see the child.’ Another of his lawyers wrote to me suggesting I buy the little girl secondhand clothes to better manage with the money I currently have,” she alleged.
