Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has shared a new development in the alleged baby factory case in Karshi, Abuja, revealing that the newborn at the centre of the controversy has been found.
In a video posted on his social media pages, VDM was seen carrying the baby out of the building after the recovery. He then approached a woman believed to be the child’s mother so she could verify whether the infant was hers.
The woman said she wanted to check her phone before confirming the baby’s identity. Her reaction drew criticism from VDM, who expressed disappointment and described her response as unusually calm given the situation.
To help her make the comparison, VDM moved with the baby to a better-lit area so she could clearly view the photos on her phone.
The recovery comes after VDM joined operatives of the Nigeria Police Force’s Special Tactical Squad (STS) in raiding a facility accused of operating as a baby factory following allegations that a seven-day-old baby had been sold.
Police investigations into the case are ongoing.
Oh! This is wonderful !! This is good news!! The baby has finally been reunited with his mother🥹❤️✨…. Thanks to VeryDarkMan and all the security operatives https://t.co/ullgNhJA2T pic.twitter.com/eOW6WVmNXZ
