Content creator Angel, popularly known as Baba Orobo, has spoken out against skit maker and singer Nasboi, accusing him of belittling him despite the years they have worked together.
In a video shared online, Angel recalled that their working relationship began in 2022, saying he frequently travelled to Nasboi’s residence in Lekki for content shoots. He explained that getting there was often difficult because many ride-hailing drivers allegedly turned him down due to his body size, forcing him to rely on expensive Uber trips.
According to Angel, the issue came to a head when Nasboi invited him to appear at one of comedian AY Makun’s shows for a ₦200,000 fee. Since he couldn’t afford transportation at the time, he said he asked his manager to request Uber fare from Nasboi so he could honour the invitation.
Angel claimed that rather than helping, Nasboi told him he had “no value,” a remark he said came as a shock after years of working side by side.
He said:
“Nasboi say me I no get value. I don dey follow this guy work since 2022. I dey go follow am work for him place for Lekki. I dey take Uber go there based on say when I enter motor all those drivers go carry me dey do shakara, some go say them no fit carry me. Him call me for AY show say them go pay me 200K. I think say na one day work wey I go just go there come back… I tell my manager say I no get money him come say make I follow Nasboi talk make him send me money for transport based on say I get body because those drivers no dey carry me. I come tell am make him send me the Uber money make I come o. Na wetin I tell am, make una hear wetin Nasboi tell me. E say me I no get value. Say me I get value wey people dey look for. I no get value since 2022 wey me and am don dey work, na now I no get value again…”
