Five years after Mayorkun’s departure from Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), Davido has shown that their friendship is still going strong with an expensive surprise.
The Afrobeats star gifted Mayorkun a brand-new Tesla Cybertruck and shared a photo of the vehicle on his Instagram Story. Alongside the picture, he expressed his love for the singer and gave instructions for the luxury truck to be delivered the next day.
Davido wrote:

The post quickly caught the attention of fans, many of whom praised Davido for maintaining a close relationship with his former artiste years after they parted ways professionally.
Mayorkun joined DMW in 2016 and left the record label in 2021 to continue his music career independently. Despite no longer working under the same label, both singers have continued to publicly support one another, with Davido’s latest gift serving as another reminder that their bond extends far beyond music.
