Rapper Idowest has challenged the outcome of his celebrity boxing contest against Mr Real, claiming the fight was unfairly judged after it ended in a draw.
The bout, held at the Chaos in the Ring event in Lagos, produced no winner, but Idowest insists the result did not reflect what happened during the fight.
Speaking after the match, the rapper alleged that outside influence played a role in the judges’ decision, maintaining that he dominated the contest.
“Yesterday’s match was rigged. Nobody can tell me that politics wasn’t involved in that match. How can I throw punches like that and they call it draw? I haven’t seen any clip of Mr. Real throw me a punch,” he said.
His comments have since sparked reactions online, with fans divided over his claims and the official draw verdict.
