Cynthia Morgan has criticised VeryDarkMan over his recent comments about Peter Okoye’s account of the dispute involving his twin brother, Paul Okoye, and their elder brother, Jude.
VeryDarkMan had raised questions about parts of Peter’s explanation, highlighting what he considered inconsistencies in the singer’s account of the issues that have affected the Okoye family.
Some social media users questioned his observations despite Peter having given an extensive explanation of his experiences and the events surrounding the family feud.
Cynthia Morgan has now challenged VeryDarkMan’s approach, arguing that he failed to take advantage of an opportunity to help settle what she described as one of the biggest disputes in Afrobeats.
She questioned why the activist allegedly chose to distance himself from Peter after speaking with other people involved in the matter, instead of confronting the singer directly about the information he had gathered.
She said:
“The false fearless man claims he found out Peter was lying to him after he spoke to the other parties involved and then you decided to start avoiding him. my question is are you even a man of resolution? Cause to me you lost the opportunity to resolve the biggest quarrel in afrobeats by not confronting Peter and you shouldn’t be proud of it.”
