Nigerian singer Crown Uzama, popularly known as Shallipopi, has renewed his allegations against music executive Dapper Music, claiming he has yet to receive royalties from 46 songs and alleging that his music catalogue was sold.
Shallipopi raised the claims on X while continuing his dispute with Dapper over the management of his music earnings and catalogue.
The singer alleged that royalties from 46 tracks remain with Dapper, specifically mentioning his hit song “E Don Cast” among the works involved.
“Dapper nor forget na my laho money Dey with me o, u Dey hold me 46 songs royalty income including my ‘E don cast’ money,” Shallipopi wrote.
He also alleged that Dapper had taken the catalogues of other artistes to Virgin Music and received payments from the transactions without adequately accounting for the money.
According to Shallipopi, his own catalogue was also allegedly sold. He said he was ready to submit a formal complaint to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over the matter.
“Dapper you Dey hold me money o, and u sell my catalog now u Dey act confuse, I go EFCC office i go write statement against u,” he said.
Shallipopi further accused Dapper of allegedly giving false information to the EFCC and claimed other artistes had also been affected by his alleged actions.
“And u go another EFCC office Dey lie for them, you forget say nor be only me u scam lol,” he added.
The singer also described Dapper as a “master manipulator” while making additional accusations about how he allegedly interacted with artistes and people from the streets.
“Jude nor sabi work reach u and u know broski u be master manipulator, u Dey put juju for mouth Dey talk to trenches boys u know what you are senior man, you too pour us spit.
“Dapper if to say I nor guide na so u for end men, men mount sha,” Shallipopi wrote.
