Nollywood actress Moyo Lawal has responded to a man who age-shamed her and questioned why she remains active in the entertainment industry.
The man had reportedly criticised the actress, alleging that her continued presence in the industry was preventing younger actresses from getting opportunities. He also made a derogatory remark about her age and career.
Reacting to the comment, Lawal questioned whether the criticism was motivated by her appearance and addressed issues surrounding a past relationship.
“You are pained because I look amazing? Because I left a man who’s feeble brain could not stand losing me and tried to destroy me at a time? Me and sleeping around has nothing in common” she wrote in her lengthy response.
Lawal has previously faced public scrutiny over aspects of her private life, particularly following the unauthorised circulation of an intimate video involving her in 2023.
The actress has continued to respond to online criticism and attempts to shame her over her personal life and career.
